What is Elifinty?

Elifinty is a UK social enterprise that builds connected infrastructure for debt advice. EliConnect gives advice organisations, housing providers, councils and creditors one shared, consented record of a person's situation, advice and progress. The free Eli app gives people a calm place to understand their money and reach a free adviser.

Why connected?

Today a person's story is retold to a creditor, then a helpline, then an adviser, and re-keyed into each system. Every handover is a chance to give up. When everyone works from the same record, with the person's consent, they only tell it once.

The gap we work on

Millions need debt advice. Most never get it.

Demand is rising, advice capacity is not, and the rules on evidencing good outcomes are getting tighter.

How it works

One journey, from first contact to lasting change

Step 1

Someone reaches out

Referred by a creditor or landlord, or signing up themselves. Every route lands on the same secure record.

Step 2

A true money picture

Open banking, a statement upload or their own figures. Every line shows where it came from.

Follow-through you can evidence

Clients see their actions, message their adviser and get reminders. You see what was read, done and achieved.

Confirmation of Advice

From a 25-page letter to six minutes of reading

Advice letters grew long because every rule added a paragraph. We kept every required element and changed the order. Clients see their actions first, then the plan, then the detail, then the reference material.

Each action needs a tap to say "I understand what I need to do". Advisers see what was opened, read and acknowledged, which is far stronger evidence of understanding than a posted letter.

A truer budget gets people the right help

People forget things on the phone. Connecting a bank account fills the gaps, and each figure keeps a tag showing where it came from, so advisers know what is verified and what still needs a question.

In this example, the forgotten £260 a month is the difference between being told a Debt Relief Order is not an option and qualifying for one.

Why we exist
"Debt advice doesn't fail people because the advice is wrong. It fails when the process asks too much of someone who's already stretched thin. Everything we build is aimed at closing that gap."

A social enterprise, on purpose

Our measure of success is people free of problem debt. That is why charity pricing sits well below commercial pricing, why we never sell personal data, and why features that help everyone are built into the platform at no extra charge.

Glossary and guides
What is Elifinty?

Elifinty is a UK social enterprise that builds connected infrastructure for debt advice. Our platform, EliConnect, puts the person, their adviser and the organisations they owe on one consented record, so fewer people drop out and advisers spend less time on admin. The Eli app helps people understand their money and reach free advice.

Who uses EliConnect?

Debt advice charities, community advice services, food banks, housing associations, councils, energy suppliers and creditors. Live clients include Rooted Finance and Hackney Food Bank.

Is Elifinty regulated by the FCA?

No. Elifinty is a technology provider and is not authorised by the FCA. Regulated debt advice is given by the organisations that use EliConnect. Open banking and credit reference data come through AperiData, which is authorised by the FCA. EliConnect is built to help those organisations meet the Consumer Duty, CONC 8 and the MaPS Standards.

How much does EliConnect cost?

Charity pricing starts at £8,000 a year (£667 a month billed annually) and commercial pricing at £25,000 a year. Eli AI is included with no usage charges. See the pricing page for every tier and an instant estimate.

How long does it take to go live?

It depends on size. Standard clients are planned for four working weeks, complex clients six to eight weeks and enterprise programmes eight to twelve weeks. The clock starts once your data and decisions are ready, not on the day you sign.

Can you help with a MaPS funding bid?

Yes. We work with advice organisations bidding for Money and Pensions Service community and national debt advice funding in 2027 and 2028, as a named technology partner. See MaPS bid partners.
